As the cold winter days continue, I'm sitting in my comfy chair, my iPad on my lap, sipping a nice cup of Earl Grey.
We recently lost Linda’s Dad, around the Christmas holidays. Getting back to a more normal lifestyle is never easy.
Most Christians of all denominations agree in good & evil, aka, "God" & "Satan." As I was reading an article in "Ask Questions," the attacks Satan uses against us come in all shapes and sizes. One of the most _ evil is he sometimes physically afflicts us or our loved ones with sickness, death, crime, tragedy or persecution. Knowing that God is the sovereign Ruler of the Universe!we naturally ask, why does God allow Satan to attack us in these ways?
The Bible teaches that God allows Satan a certain amount of freedom (Job 1:12,) but that freedom is always limited. Satan cannot do all that he wishes. Satan chooses to attack God's children (1 Peter 5:8,) and his design is always evil. Satan is a murderer (John 8:44.) In contrast, God's design in allowing certain satanic attacks is always good. God loves His children (1 John 4:16.) Joseph faced many satanic attacks in his lifetime, but in the end he could speak with confidence of two opposing purposes behind the same events."You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good" (Genesis 50:20).
God never gives us more than we can bear, because we are always the ones He carries.
The end of 2023 had been pretty bad, which speaks to me that God must be working on a heckuva good plan for me and my family.
I'm so blessed to know that the Lord is carrying me.
Remembering, Family Comes First.
May God Bless you and yours.
